Cathedral exhibition highlights modern slavery

A new exhibition opening at Chester Cathedral on Saturday 10 October will draw attention to the global issue of modern slavery. Human trafficking and modern slavery affect an estimated 40 million people worldwide.

New tool helps measure carbon footprint

Delaying re-opening of church buildings

British Army recruits oldest female chaplain

The British Army has set a new record in recruiting the oldest female ever to take up the role of chaplain. Ailsa Whorton, currently a curate in our diocese will be commissioned as an officer in the British Army on 07 September.
