£24,700 - £26,300 Full Time Equivalent depending upon skills and experience
Pro-rata hourly rate of £13.54 to £14.41

The Diocese of Chester is seeking to recruit a Jesus Shaped People (JSP) Champion and a JSP Intergenerational Champion to work in the busy Outreach team. Please note, a candidate with the right skills could be recruited for BOTH posts together.
The JSP Champion will build on the excellent work done by our previous team member.
The JSP Champion will promote JSP in the diocese, liaise with the parishes on the JSP adventure and support the mission accompaniers. They will ensure the work of JSP is integrated with the diocesan strategy and the estates group network and be a conduit for parishes, the JSP Team, mission accompaniers and other parishes with an interest in beginning the Adventure.
The Intergenerational JSP Champion will promote JSP in the diocese, liaise with the parishes on the JSP adventure. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit with a drive for initiative and creativity, be an enthusiastic advocate for intergenerational ministry and have a heart for children and young people in the local church, and particularly areas of social deprivation.

Each role is for 6 hours per week, and funding is available for 18 months.
