Full time Incumbent of St Michael and All Angels, Mottram
Known locally as the church on the hill, St Michael's is blessed with parishioners who are warm, welcoming, friendly and very supportive.
We are looking for a priest who will help us deepen our worshipping life, broaden our reach into our local community and clarify our sense of vision and purpose as we look to the future

• Rediscover a clear sense of identity and a sense of direction.
• Increase our congregation numbers.
• Strengthen our relationships with local schools.
• Prioritise engagement with children and young families.
• Review patterns and nature of worship, whilst upholding our central churchmanship.
• Connect with other groups and churches in the area.
• Develop events and opportunities that bring people together and provide fellowship.
• Offer support and leadership to our existing pastoral support teams.
• Provide opportunities for nurturing discipleship through courses such as Alpha.
• Actively pursue the re-ordering of the church in order to provide opportunities for
a more diverse use of the space and encourage wider involvement and participation in all aspects of our life.
