Chair - Professor Bob Munn

Appointed in January 2009, Bob Munn has extensive experience of senior management in higher education, including chairing numerous committees of well-informed people. Now professor of chemical physics emeritus, he was until 2007 Vice-President for Teaching and Learning at The University of Manchester. He continues to work part time on academic audit and other regulatory matters in higher education.

He has been a parishioner at St Michael’s Bramhall since 1971. He has spent many years on the PCC, having been chair of the Finance and Buildings Committee and for seven years a Churchwarden. He hopes that his experience of the parish end of the Faculty process will be valuable at the diocesan end.  He also trusts that his training with Acorn Christian Listeners will help in working with parishes to find acceptable ways of achieving what they want from their church buildings.
