Being Bishop of Chester 'changes me every single day'

Bishop Mark was interviewed on BBC Radio Merseyside on Sunday 19 March. He talked to presenter Paul Beesley about his new book, Clinging to the Cross, and how it is being used as a study course. He also reflected on his time in the diocese since his appointment three years ago saying being Bishop of Chester "changes me every single day".

About the book, Bishop Mark says: "This first book brings us back to the Cross of Christ, in search of practical wisdom for everyday faithfulness. I hope it will be a rich and fruitful resource for those in church leadership as together we search for practical grace in a complex and demanding world.”

The book is the first in a series of three.

The book also explores "practical wisdom", the practical ways that we can listen and understand each other, even though we might not agree with each other.

While most of the interview focuses on Mark's book, presenter Paul Beesley made the point that it's been three years since Mark was appointed as the Bishop of Chester and asks, "Has it changed you in any way?"
