Quiet Day with the Very Revd. Pete Wilcox

undefinedMonday 26th September : Quiet Day with the Dean of Liverpool. The focus will be the book of Ruth.

Dean Pete has been ordained for over 25 years and has been Dean of Liverpool since 2012. He has published a number of books on the Old Testament.

‘I will offer a close reading of each of the four chapters of the book of Ruth in turn, drawing out its literary beauty and its theological challenge. The retreat will be helpful to those who are wary of the Old Testament, or who sense that there must be more to Bible Reading than bite-sized passages…  it will be relevant to those whose lives have taken a difficult turn, and for those who have much to thank God for.’

Please note our Quiet Days may have periods of silence
