CRE 2014 Manchester

undefinedManchester is the venue for the Christian Resources Exhibition North to be held at Event City near the Trafford Centre on Wednesday and Thursday, 8 and 9 October. It's a return to the region and the venue (in Phoenix Way, Manchester M41 7TB) after a successful time there in 2012.

Some 3,000 people from churches of all denominations will visit the exhibition, gaining direct access to dozens of specially-targeted exhibitors, displaying everything from computers to communion wine, pulpits to preaching puppets.

A series of seminars, given by both regional and national experts, will cover issues of interest to local church leaders and members of all kinds – from parish magazine editors to treasurers.

The Rt Revd David Walker, Bishop of Manchester said: “I'm delighted almost 200 organisations are bringing skills, services, ideas and products to the north west.”

The event will be opened by the RC Bishop of Salford, the Rt Revd Terence Brain.

Key contributors include: Andy Hawthorne of the Message Trust; Bradford-based singer/songwriter Lara Martin; and Preston-born comedian Tony Vino, who has appeared at St Mary’s church, Upton, Wirral.

'Our first show in 2012 proved a resounding success,' explained event manager Bill Allen. 'We are delighted to bring Europe's leading Christian exhibition back to the north west. CRE North will provide inspiration at every level of the local church agenda. It's must-visit event for anyone who cares about the future of their church.'

Admission is £6 on the door, but if you click on this link you will be able to gain free or discounted admission.
