Course for people who work with children and young people open

A brand new course for people who work with children and young people is open for applications until Friday 30 November. The Amplify course, developed in partnership with the Dioceses of Manchester and Blackburn begins in January 2019 and will run for six months. The course is aimed at all of those working with children or young people in churches.

Jonathan Masters, Youth, Children and Families’ Missioner for the Diocese of Chester has helped to develop the course. Jonathan said, “Amplify is an inspiring course designed to equip those working with children and young people in a Christian context. We are excited to be able to offer such an accessible course and we believe it will be transformational for many ministering with young generations across the North West, providing refreshment and new impetus for giving space for God’s kingdom to grow.”

Students will participate in a blend of lectures, discussions, assignments and presentations in order to develop their expertise in children and youth work. The course will be run over two residential weekends plus one day ending with a celebration. The cost for all of this input, including accommodation and food is £350.

The application deadline is Friday 30th November. To find out more visit the Amplify page, hosted by the Diocese of Blackburn.

To apply please complete the forms on the website and send a copy of the signed forms to Jonathan Masters
