Chappell centre opened at Mossley sep 2013,

undefinedCongleton MP Fiona Bruce formally opened the new Chappell Centre at Mossley in Congleton recently. The new centre, which has been funded through a legacy, will provide community space and a lounge run by volunteers, offering refreshments throughout the day.

The project was conceived and delivered by members at Holy Trinity, Mossley. Team Rector the Revd Canon David Taylor paid tribute to all who had given support.

The Chappell Centre is a two-storey building which stands alongside the recently-improved village hall in Leek Road, Mossley.

The Archdeacon of Macclesfield, the Ven Ian Bishop, dedicated the building in prayer and congratulated everyone on an immense achievement.

Fiona Bruce spoke of her pleasure at seeing churches engaging with their communities and bringing hope and the love of Christ in practical ways to the area.
