'Catching your Breath' at Foxhill

These are a series of days at Foxhill during the autumn. We are asking for expressions of interest so that we can best coordinate the events when the relaxing coronavirus restrictions enable Foxhill to re-open.

Please complete our expression of interest form here.

It is intended that the events will be for groups of twelve people, clergy and possibly Readers on weekdays, and Pastoral Workers on a separate day.

These days are based on the 23rd Psalm, verses 1-3 in the Message version:

God, my shepherd!
 I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.

The days would have no structure, just worship/prayer in the chapel and the space to stop and catch your breath.

Members of the Foxhill Prayer Team and the Diocesan  Counselling Team will be around.

Director of Foxhill, Jonathan Green says; "This is a great opportunity to literally catch your breath as we walk this challenging road together. An opportunity to enjoy the house and grounds at Foxhill as well as worship and food."

The dates for the events are yet to be announced – some to be day events, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and some to be 30 hours, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. the following day.
