To truly meet our aim to Cast the Net Wide during this grassroots consultation process, we must listen to the voices of the widest number of people in our churches and communities, and that's where we need your help.
All clergy and church leaders are encouraged to host a Vision Cafe, hold conversations, and encourage people to share their thoughts and insights via the survey. Doing so will help us reach a greater number of people in your parish.
Over the coming weeks, we will publish on this webpage resources to help our churches to explain and promote the Vision process to their congregations and communities and we hope you will find them helpful. Resources will include posters, branded social media posts, press releases, and suggested parish news articles. We will alert you to new resources via the E-Bulletin.
Should you need some advice or have any questions or ideas for how we could do things better, your primary contact at Church House is Harriet Roberts.

Vision Prayer
Written by the Bishop's Chaplain, the Revd Andy Stinson, this is the Vision Prayer that we are enouraging people to use and pray whenever engaging or thinking about the vision process in the Diocese of Chester.
Eternal God,
whose Son Jesus called his disciples to cast the net wide:
Open our eyes to glimpse your vision,
open our ears to hear the needs of the world,
prepare our hands to do your work,
show us the gifts we have and the treasure we must seek.
Unite us as your people across the Diocese of Chester
to worship, to witness and to work
for the glory of Christ our Saviour.
Amen.
