Young Generations

picThe Diocese of Chester is passionate about enabling and supporting parishes in their ministry with young generations. We aim to inspire and enable every church to share the good news of Jesus Christ with children, families and young people.

The Youth, Children and Families' Missioner is here to help parishes, as well as children, family and youth leaders in their ministry with children and young people.

We want to help churches in the Diocese to minister with and among as many children, families and young people as possible, and envision every child and young person in the Diocese having access to a local church enthusiastic about having them present.

How we can help

The Young Generations team is able to provide specific support and information for your context, as well as offering a wide range of resources for you to use. If you have any questions about your church’s work with children or young people in your community please do contact us.

We also run events for children, young people and families throughout the year - stay in touch to make sure you don't miss out. You can also keep in touch via facebook and twitter

Leaders of Young Generations

We support leaders of young generations (children and family and youth workers, whether paid or voluntary) through a network which meets at least once a term to worship, gain input and provide mutual support. Everyone who works with children and young people is welcome. To make sure you know when the next Leaders of Young Generations Network event is and for signposting to resources, sign up to receive the ebulletin.
