Understanding Young Adult Faith

Date: 9th July 2019

Time: 9:30 - 15:30

Millennials can be a mystery. Growing to adulthood with unprecedented privileges and pressures the generation gap can seem vast. They are least likely to be in our churches, or religious at all. Yet there remains a minority who are strongly committed to the gospel of Jesus.  This day will explore issues around young adult identity, worldview and faith formation. Including how we might reach, disciple and encourage a generation growing up without the hope of faith in demanding and uncertain times.

Dr Ruth Perrin is an academic researcher based in Durham with over 20 years experience in church and para-church ministry. The day will include findings from her most recent research some of which can be found at www.discipleshipresearch.com
