Anyone can ... are basic introduction to youth work training sessions aimed to inspire, resource and provide ideas for anyone engaging with young people. The sessions will be held over an evening or a Saturday morning.

No matter what the age or size of congregation.
We want to resource relevant (to the area and parish resources) and sustainable youth work in parishes across the Diocese. We also want to help develop existing youth work and help parishes look at new opportunities.
How?
We are inviting parishes and deaneries to book us in for the morning and we will then run the training and networking session. These will give you an opportunity to find out what ways you can re/engage with young people in your area. The session will give you the knowledge you need to start something in your parish as well as meeting others from around your deanery.
We then hope that at least two parishes in each deanery will step out and start or redevelop relevant youth work for their parish. We want this work to be sustainable and relevant in terms of parish resources and surroundings. We will help you discover and decide the right approach for your parish and the best way forward.
We are not then just going to drop you in it, we will support those parishes who decide to start youth work and you will be teamed up with a member of the youth committee and hopefully a local parish as you take those first steps in doing something different.
