This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an inspirational, highly motivated and ambitious person to join our school.  We are looking for a dynamic leader, who, in partnership with the newly appointed Head Teacher, senior leaders and governing body will play a significant role in the continued success and ongoing development of our school.  Th successful candidate will be an excellent teacher with relevant teaching and leadership experience.  The post offers the prospect of working within a friendly and exceptional learning environment with enthusiastic children and dedicated staff. The Governors will support the successful candidate by offering appropriate leadership and management time.

We are seeking a candidate who is ambitious to build on the success of our happy, spiritual school.

Our Deputy headteacher will have:

·         A clear vision for the future and an ability to implement this vision in partnership the Head Teacher, governors, staff, parents and the community.

·         The ability to promote, enhance and actively support our Christian ethos.

·         High expectations of achievements for all and be capable of securing and maintaining high standards of pupil attainment, achievement and behaviour, using assessment and monitoring to further promote our standards.

·         Outstanding teaching and communications skills which will enhance the quality of education and management within the school.

·         An excellent record of classroom practice within the primary phase.

·         Well-developed organisational, leadership and interpersonal skills
