Nantwich, St. Mary's

The Church of St. Mary's in Nantwich invites applications for the post of Rector of Nantwich.

We would welcome a priest committed to evangelism, outreach and nurture, across the generations. They should be pastorally minded and demonstrate leadership.  They need to enable and support the teams of lay and ordained colleagues to co-ordinate and develop the varied and flourishing life of the parish. They should also be an effective communicator. St Mary’s has wide ranging forms of worship and a rich musical life including an excellent RSCM choir and a worship band. The church has a civic dimension and also works, in covenant, with the other local churches.

Nantwich is a large and growing community of 20,000, with the beautiful and historic parish church of St Mary (ER 466 - USA under 16: 66, over 16: 436) centrally situated as the only place of Anglican worship in the town. Local amenities are excellent. There is a modern rectory.
