Macclesfield Team Ministry

Applications are invited for the post of Team Vicar, within this supportive and committed Team Ministry.

We are: four parishes, each with its own distinctive ministry. We work as a team in one benefice, in mutual support, to meet the challenges of ministry in Macclesfield today in co-operation with the wider Christian Church in town.

We can offer: a leadership role in a team of lay and ordained people committed to active service, growth and mission. This will include pastoral oversight of two churches, All Saints and St. Barnabas. Macclesfield is a market town with a friendly community and good facilities; close to the Peak District and Manchester.

We would welcome: a priest, man or woman, who works collaboratively with ordained and lay colleagues; who shares a passion for the community and is willing to discern the Church’s role in developing growth. Someone who will nurture people to honestly live out their faith and play a deeper role in mission and ministry; who is at ease with a range of church traditions and is open to innovative approaches to ministry.

Macclesfield Team Ministry includes CPAS and Simeon’s Trustees amongst its patrons.
