Safeguarding Policy, Practice Guidance, SCIE Audit

Children were welcome and safe in the company of Jesus, and children and people at risk should be safe in Christ's Church.
Here in the Diocese of Chester we are committed to encouraging an environment where all people, but especially those who may be at risk for any reason, are able to worship and follow their faith journey with encouragement and in safety.

Our Safeguarding Policy 'Safe in our Care' is an every day tool which encourages parishes to be proactive in Safeguarding and gives guidance for those people who work with vulnerable people, including children and adults.
