Is God calling you? Church Army

Church army evangelists are full-time lay workers who resource Anglican Churches, projects and teams throughout the British Isles. They are people who are gifted and called to work specifically with the unchurched and among those who are marginalised in our society.

The Church Army vision is to have teams working in pioneering contexts that can begin fresh expressions of church. Church Army evangelists need to be men and women of courage, imagination and determination; people who are excited by the gospel and eager to find new ways of being Church.

To apply for training, you should normally be at least 18 years old, be a confirmed and active member of a church within the Anglican Communion and have some experience of the world of work and a capacity for leadership. Training usually lasts for three years.
