General sources:

GRANTnet
The Dioceses of Manchester and Chester have taken out a subscription to Grantfinder which is an internet based search facility.

ChurchCare
A document with information about organisations who might be able to help fund various projects or pieces of work in your church or cathedral.

Cinnamon Trust
 The Cinnamon Network vision is to see the UK Church increasingly meet the needs of those people most at need in communities by strengthening the muscles of local churches for community transformation. The primary approach is to identify exemplary local church based community projects and to replicate them to national scale through a Community Franchising approach. 

English Heritage
Offers funding if your church meets their criteria

The Hedley Foundation
Makes grants to adapt or improve church and community buildings for community use and for the provision of specialist equipment/assistance with access for disabled people.

Lloyds TSB Foundation
Funds both capital and revenue costs of church projects meeting the needs of the wider community and might be appropriate for any improvements which might need to be made.

Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund
If your parish falls within the catchment area of the airport your parish might be able to apply to the.

Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards Scheme
Gives grants for communities where there is a Tesco store and organisations whose work supports elderly and disabled people. It will not fund refurbishment of buildings but will fund other aspects which improve access.

Wirral Community Trust
If your parish is in the Wirral a further source of funding upon which upon which your parish might be able to draw. Write to c/o United Trusts, PO Box 14, 8 Nelson Road, Liverpool, L69 7AA.
