See beasts of the field … and The Archers stars
A CELEBRATION of harvest is to be held at Whitehouse Farm, Plumley, near Knutsford on Saturday, 18 September. Among the attractions will be guest appearances by cast members from The Archers radio drama (Brian and Shula) and the Salvation Army Band. The organisers include Chester Diocesan Rural Officer, the Revd Canon Donald Marr, Farm Crisis Network, and the Agricultural Chaplain of the Salvation Army in Cheshire, Keith Ineson. The event opens at 1.30pm.Other attractions include a fine food market, a barbeque, exhibition class farm animals and a “Walk The Farm” feature.
