Let’s pray for The Church Army’s big day September 26 this year is Church Army Sunday. On this day parishes have the opportunity to remind themselves of the organisation’s work and provide financial and prayerful support to it. All clergy of incumbent status will shortly receive a letter reminding them of the date and the theme of Church Army Sunday which is “Mission-shaped church”. Suggested prayers and ideas for sermons will be posted on our website www.churcharmy.org.uk and a number of Church Army officers and supporters will be preaching on this theme on or around September 26.
