undefinedThe proposed law allowing women to be made bishops has received backing from our diocese. Voting at Diocesan Synod held at St Laurence's church, Frodsham (pictured) on Wednesday 21 May - backed the proposed law as follows

House of Bishops: 2 for; nil against; nil abstentions.

House of Clergy: 37 for; 10 against; 3 abstentions.
