A talk on what today's teen girls face


Rachel - advising girls in our challenging eraThe latest person to give a thought-provoking 'Sundays at 7' talk at St Mary's Church, Upton, Wirral, is Rachel Gardner, a youth worker who has appeared in BBC TV's 'No Sex Please, We're Teenagers'. Rachel is the Creative Director of Romance Academy - a nationwide sex and relationships education initiative run by youth workers. She tackles head-on the issues facing teenage girls, including: self-image; the pull of the in-crowd; puberty; and boys.

Rachel is credible and shot through with biblical wisdom. Parents and youth workers can read her books with confidence.

Hear her talk at ‘Sundays at Seven’ on 6 May, starting with refreshments in the hall at 6.30pm, followed by the talk itself in the church from 7pm. The event usually finishes by 8.15pm. St Mary’s is at the junction of Church Road and Ford Road in Upton, CH49 6JZ.

All are welcome. Admission is free.
