undefinedThe guests at ‘Sundays at 7' in Upton, Wirral, next month will be members of the Sisters of Jesus Way (pictured). Several of the sisters will speak and answer questions at St Mary's church in Church Road, Upton (CH49 6JZ).

The parish regularly invites people come and talk about their lives and their faith at ‘Sundays at 7’ on the first Sunday of each month.

On Sunday 5 April, the guests will be the Anglican nuns of the Sisters of Jesus Way who live in community in West Kirby, Wirral.

In 1979, the two founder sisters (Sister Marie and Sister Sylvia) gave up paid work and sold all their possessions in answer to a call from God to create a community in West Kirby. ‘Life promises’ of simplicity, fidelity and chastity underpin their commitment to this special place where guests are welcome to visit and experience a deeper sense of God’s love, forgiveness and renewal.

The evening presents an opportunity to hear more of the sisters’ newly-published book ‘To Love You Only’.

'Sundays at 7' is relaxed and informal evening of dialogue. Refreshments  will be served from 6.30pm until 7pm when the sisters’ talk begins.
