Photo exhibition with an Easter theme

One of the photographs in the exhibitionA long-standing parishioner at St John's, Hartford town centre, is to hold his first solo photographic exhibition at the church's adjoining church centre in School Lane. Paul Bundle, 62, will hold his display 'From the Sun's Rising ...' over Easter. One of the images is PICTURED HERE. The glory and drama of light through the day and seasons is shown in more than 40 other images of international, UK and local scenes. See dates and times of the exhibition below ...

A worshipper at St John’s since 1985, and in recent years a house group leader, Paul now works part time as a professional photographer. He said: “To see the sun appearing and lighting the landscape when you may be the only person around makes for very special moments.  These give me a greater appreciation of God’s creation and love and it is fitting to share these images at a time when Christians are celebrating God’s Son rising.”

Entrance to the exhibition is free and all the photographs are for sale. Light refreshments will be available.

The exhibition opens at 8pm on Tuesday 3 April and runs to Sunday 15 April. Opening times are: Mon, Tue, Fri and Sat, 10am to 4pm; Sun, midday to 4pm; Wed midday to 10pm; Thu, midday to 7.30pm.

On Tue 10 April Paul will give a talk about the exhibition, starting at 8pm.  Fopr m ore details phone St John’s Centre on 01606 872255 or Paul on 01606 853150 or visit and follow the links to What's On? and Arts 4u.
