Melanesia - new open day Oct 2013

undefinedA special open day will be held at the new Church House this autumn – so that people can find out more about getting involved with the Melanesians, some of whom visited our diocese back in spring. Eleven brothers and sisters from the Anglican Church of Melanesia in the Solomon Islands, South Pacific, visited our diocese earlier this year, and they proved a big hit.

Local people attending the planned opening day – scheduled for Saturday 19 October from 2 to 4pm – will see photos from the Melanesian ‘Simply Living’ mission visit back in spring.

People can also find out more about the work of the Companions of the Melanesian Brotherhood – Chester during the open day, which will take place at the new Church House,  5500 Daresbury Park, Daresbury (near Runcorn), WA4 4GE.
