Lord Mayor Civic Service


Pamela Booher, pictured in the regalia of her current role, as Deputy Lord MayorCouncillor Pamela Booher would like to invite all parishes in the Cheshire West and Chester area to pray with her at a civic service as she begins her year in office as Lord Mayor of Chester. The service - at Chester Cathedral on Sunday 20 May, starting at 3.30pm - is an opportunity to come together to pray for the civic life of the borough, which covers Chester, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham, Helsby, Neston, Malpas, Northwich, Winsford and rural areas. There will be light refreshments afterwards at Chester Town Hall.

Cllr Booher lives Winsford and serves as a councillor on Cheshire West and Chester for the ward of Winsford Wharton. She is a Methodist and a school governor at Duddon St Peter's CE Primary School.

Cllr Booher has also been a member of the old Cheshire County Council, Vale Royal Borough Councillor and Winsford Town Council. A talented singer with a love of music, she intends to support the Cathedral Choir during her civic year.
