High Legh's Christmas Tree Festival 2015

undefinedSt John's church in High Legh, north Cheshire, will host a Christmas Tree Festival on 4, 5 and 6 December (Friday to Sunday). Local organisations including Brownies, the bowling club, the golf club and the garden centre are busy preparing a stunning range of Christmas trees which will be on display.

Thematically, visitors will enter into the magical kingdom of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. The light and colour of the decorated trees represent the return of Aslan and the overthrow of the White Witch.

As well as the display of trees, there will be live music, including folk, classical, modern and Christmas carols. The High Legh school choir and brass band will open the weekend by singing and playing on the Friday morning.

Refreshments and home-made cakes will be available throughout each day in the church room.

Opening times: Friday 10am to 6pm; Saturday 10am to 6pm; Sunday 1pm to 4.30 pm.
