Eat, pray, live Christian social group Wirral 2015

undefinedAn inter-church social group launched 18 months ago for Christians in Wirral and surrounding areas is now thriving. The group - called ‘Eat, Pray, Live' - was founded by Julie Dunlop of St Mary's church in Upton, Wirral.

Julie said: “After searching for some time, it became apparent there were no active Christian social groups within the local area so I took the plunge and set the group up from scratch. One year on, we haven’t looked back and are growing by the week.”The group (EPL) attracts participants from across the Wirral and from Chester and Liverpool.

With more than 150 members, ELP offers a variety of events, both secular and faith-based, including: outdoor activities; wining and dining; charity events; and seminars.

It meets up once a week, where possible, and there’s no pressure to attend events. Members can join in as many or as few events as they wish.

Julie said: “We know it can be daunting joining a new group, but we’ll always ensure a warm and friendly welcome in a relaxed environment.

ELP is free to join. Discover more here
