Compass Keith September 2013

RSS

undefinedThis is how a lot of people feel when the idea of ordained ministry pops into their head, or someone suggests it to them. Coming up next month (September 28) Bishop Keith (pictured) will talk about how he knew ordination was right for him, and how you might know for yourself. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions.

Whilst our diocese is encouraged by the younger people coming forward for ministerial training, it is always delighted when people in their 50s or even older ask about ordination. Training is flexible and the home parish can be the place of ministry if appropriate.

This meeting is a Compass event and open to anyone interested in ordained ministry. It will take place at the parish centre of All Saints, Hoole in Chester from 10am until 12 on Saturday 28 September. For more information phone the DDO office on 01244 346945 or email ddo@chester.anglican.org
