Christian car dealer who doesn't open on Sundays


undefinedLocal radio station Flame is to interview one of the north-west's most successful car dealers one who refuses to trade on Sundays. Mark Mitchell managing director of Mitchell Group based at Cheshire Oaks near Ellesmere Port operates the business along Biblical principles.

He feels that his staff should be off work with their families on the traditional Christian day of rest.

Mark (pictured) – a member of St Mary's church in Upton, Wirral – oversees a five-acre site, representing the Lexus, Skoda and Mazda brands and attracting customers from across the region.

He will be interviewed about his business life and his faith in the ‘Chat Room’ show by presenter John Cheek on Monday 7 April between 1.30pm  and 2.30pm. Also in the studio will be Matt Summerfield (Chief Executive of Christian youth charity  Urban Saints) and  Flame’s Norman Polden.
