Cheshire Church Launches Online Nativity

undefinedChildren and their parents at St Christopher's Church, Pott Shrigley, Macclesfield have got together to produce a special nativity film and have made it available online to make sure that no one need miss out on a vital Christmas tradition this year.

“The nativity story is crucial to Christmas and the true meaning of the celebration. But increasingly it gets side-lined” a spokesman for St Christopher’s said. “A recent survey by parenting website Netmums showed that people across the country are worried that the traditional children’s nativity play is disappearing and being modernised or traded for a more generic 'winter celebration'. So with the help of a professional film production company we have made our church nativity play available to everyone. We wouldn’t want anyone to miss out”.

The short film (running time approx. 15mins) was written by church members and is produced by Macclesfield based Gem Productions; it was shot on entirely on location at Pott Shrigley Church and features children from St Christopher’s Junior Church. The film Launches today (Monday 19 December 2016) and will be promoted online and via social media
