CDN Feb 2013

undefinedFebruary's Chester Diocesan News is now distributed in parishes. Each month CDN is packed with reports of great work and projects right across our diverse diocese. In the latest issue read about how a Melanesian mission partner had a very positive time while gaining teaching experience in a Wirral school.

There’s a feature about a church in West Kirby which made great use of its new community centre by holding an arts and crafts festival, plus a report about a parish in Crewe which has reconnected with Lammastide - the traditional celebration of the first fruits of the harvest.

And on the front page the Bishop of Chester writes about how "too much of the modern world has become rather shapeless". He urges people to "find a structure and discipline of praise and prayer which can give shape to our lives, and help us on our journey with God and to God".

All that and more besides – CDN is one of the best read diocesan publications in the whole of the Church of England.
