undefinedChester Cathedral Nave Choir will be joined by a special guest for an upcoming choral concert at the cathedral. Philip Moore, an English composer and organist who until recently was Director of Music at York Minster, will be in attendance to hear his works being performed on Saturday 21 June, starting at 7.30pm

The concert, entitled Mozart and Moore, will feature the Chester Mozart Players and a quartet of professional soloists. It will include performances of Mozart’s Requiem and Overture to The Magic Flute and two works by Philip Moore.

Chester Cathedral Nave Choir is the longest-running cathedral voluntary choir in the country. It was established during the 1860s.
