Building underway at our new Church House 2013

undefinedBishop Peter is pictured laying a brick at our new Church House under construction at Daresbury Park near Runcorn. The two-storey building is expected to be ready for staff to move there this summer from Aldford, south of Chester, where they have been located since 1999.

All parts of the new Church House have disability access. The ground floor will have a meeting room, a chapel, a staff room and a resources area.

The first floor will accommodate offices for both archdeacons and an open plan workspace for the diocesan departments of Ministry, Parish Development,  Education, Social Responsibility, Property, Surveyors, Finance, HR and Communications.

Bishop Peter said: "The new Church House will be a source of blessing for the diocese for many years to come.  It will be the most efficient and accessible administrative centre that we have ever had."

Daresbury has been chosen for its central location within our diocese and its good communication links.  daresbury park

When completed our new Church House will look very similar to this building …
