BBC newsround at +Libby's Aug 2015

undefinedChildren's TV news show Newsround interviewed the Church of England's first woman bishop, the Rt Revd Libby Lane. Seven girls quizzed the Bishop of Stockport in her study at home in Dunham Town.

They questioned +Libby about various matters. Asked what changes  she thought there would be to the role of women in society and church in 10 years’ time, the bishop replied: "Changes are happening and they’re happening all the time. Anything that you set your mind to that you have the skills to do, I think, women will be able to do in the next 10 years.

"It’s an exciting time to grow up! I particularly hope to change the lives of woman and girls whose lives are very difficult; for girls who don’t get access to education or the healthcare they need."

The intervieweed was screened on CBBC on Tuesday 18 August.
