Two new staff for TLT

undefinedTwo new part-time staff members have been appointed to replace the Revd Jenny Mayo Lythall, our previous Development Worker for Transforming Lives Together (TLT). Kath Leigh will work 3.5 days a week as Lead Community Builder and focus her work in Macclesfield Archdeaconry. Wendy Robertson will work as Community Builder for three days a week in Chester Archdeaconry.

TLT is a joint venture between Church Urban Fund and our diocese. It aims to transform lives and communities by encouraging every person in every church in every community to help tackling poverty.

Both Kath and Wendy will work from home and ‘hot desk’ in Church House.

They have just started in their roles (Monday 4 January) and will spend quite a lot of time in Church House the first few weeks.

Please do introduce yourself and get to know them. I know that you will make them feel welcome. Thank you.

Janice Mason, Diocesan Director of Social Responsibility, said:  “We’re really looking forward to this new phase for TLT – tackling poverty in our poorest communities.

“I would ask everyone to introduce themselves to Kath and Wendy, welcome them and get to know them. Of course, some of you may know Wendy already, as she was coordinator of CSR’s Life Expectancy Wirral project until the end of December 2015.”
