What's On in Training
University of Chester

Diocesan Short Courses cover a wide range of topics and are aimed at helping you to grow in understanding and knowledge of the Christian Faith.

Courses usually run in evenings for four to six consecutive weeks.
Not all courses run every year, so don't put off the opportunity for further learning and training.

Locations vary around the Diocese.

Anyone can apply for a place on any course - the only requirement is to be interested in the topic and want to know more.

Designed for adult Christians who have already learned about the basics of their faith and want to explore more.

The courses are designed to stretch and challenge thinking and understanding, not academic ability.

Watch out for more details in Chester Diocesan News each month

Cost is usually £30-35, though do contact us if you would have difficulty meeting the cost of a course. Clergy, Readers and Pastoral Workers can use their CME grants for these courses.
