The Finance and Central Services Committee of the Diocesan Board of Finance has responsibility for:-

- Budgeting and financial management
- Stipends
- Clergy housing
- Diocesan property (including Glebe)
- Staffing
- Central Services
- Advice and training in parish administration

For major items recommendations are made to meetings Bishops Council.

Membership and Meetings

The Chairman of Chester Diocesan Board of Finance, the Archdeacons of Chester and Macclesfield,

The remainder are a balance of clergy and lay, elected representative, nominated, and co-opted Members

The committee meets 5 times a year. The dates can be found in the Diocesan Diary.
