Training
Cheshire Domestic Abuse Partnership are offering the following training courses:
Level 1- Responding to Domestic Abuse -- a basic awareness course
Level 2 - Working with Families Experiencing Domestic Abuse (Level 1 must be completed before Level 2). There is a high demand for places at this excellent training. Dates throughout 2007/8 at venues across Cheshire. Details from:

Other local authority areas in our diocese offer similar opportunities to join colleagues from other agencies on Level 1 training. Contact your local Domestic Abuse Forum/Women's Aid.

There is a wealth of experience and good practice of ministry  with older people in parishes across our diocese. This resource, produced by the diocesan group, Older People and the Church will include examples and ideas to stimulate and enable others. We will introduce the Pack at special events in

Guidelines for Employing Staff in Faith based projects
A comprehensive, on line, good practice guide for employing staff in faith based projects. It includes templates of documents and policies to download. Produced by Liz Geddes, Human Resources Adviser, the Dioceses of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester in collaboration with the Church Urban Fund.
