The Long Haul: developing resilience in ministry and life
Date:
7th March 2018
Time:
11:00 - 15:30
Description:
Most of us will serve in public ministry for decades, not just years. How do we flourish and grow on this long journey, rather than merely survive? This event is designed to help us understand our needs as travellers through the landscape of licensed ministry, and suggest how we might sustain ourselves.

Michael Sadgrove lives in Northumberland where he continues to be engaged in theological writing and speaking, church matters, European issues, arts and heritage, and the culture of North East England. He blogs regularly on a variety of subjects. He was Dean of Durham Cathedral from 2002 to 2015. He has written a number of books including Wisdom and Ministry (2008) and I will trust in you: a companion to the evening psalms (2009).

Venue: Foxhill house and Woodland, Tarvin Road, Frodsham WA6 6XB
Refreshments and lunch will be provided. There is no charge for this event.
